My favorite bass lake has an eighteen inch limit.  Those fish have been around for a while. The favorite lake lure was Jig & Pig, but after several years of getting their eyes crossed you couldn't  buy a fish on that lure. Big Muskies have been around for a few years watching the parade of store bought lures fly by. Offer them something they have never seen before.  I'm convinced a slow swimming easy target like Smart Lure becomes irresistible. Muskies hate new kids on their block!
